Although Ashley lost in the consolation rounds for singles and doubles, she was voted by tournament
staff and referees as the girls Sportmanship Award winner. There were 54 girls to choose from! She received a plaque and watch.

Andry wins Claycourt title
Cameron Andry, a freshman-to-be at St. Michael the Archangel, won the boys 18-and-under title at the Louisiana Claycourt Junior Open held in New Orleans last week.
The 14-year-old Andry defeated top-seeded Sean Laughlin, of New Orleans, 6-3, 6-0, in the final round. Andry is Louisiana's No. 1-ranked 14-year-old and is rated No. 32 nationally.
