Louisiana Super Senior Local/State Tournament
October 5, 6, 7, 8, in Shreveport/Bossier, LA
60’s
& 70’S Men & Women Levels:
2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, plus 60’s 4.5
Team Registration opens on June 20, 2012
$210.00) Team Registration Fee must be paid on or
before Sept 21, 2012 which covers the six member team minimum. Additional
players may be registered at the Registration Site. No cash will be accepted! Checks
must be made out to USTA Louisiana and mailed to BJ
Johnson, 5709 Flagler Street, Metairie, LA and received on or before Sept.
21, 2012.
TEAM CHECK-IN: Team captains are required to check in their team at the tournament
headquarters prior to their first match. Please check in at the following
location:
Bossier
Tennis Center, 1651Mondello Way, Bossier City. Tournament headquarters will be open for team registration on
Thursday October 4th, at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday morning
at 7:00 a.m and Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m.
Draws
Schedules - Please note a change to the 3.5 60 Men Schedule on the first match on Friday.
State Tournament Results

- All
registered teams will play at the State Tournament — no local leagues.
- This
is a team event — all players must be on a registered team.
- Must
reach the age of 60 (or 70) on or before December 31, 2012.
- Must
be a current USTA member through October, 2012.
- This
is a team format of 3 doubles courts per match.
- Form
your team now-- teams must be registered on TennisLink--Register with a minimum
of 6 eligible players by Wednesday, September 5, 2012 to be included in
the draw.
Team Registration Deadline September 5, 2012 - All
2012 teams will be registering under their city/area
— player registration fees are $5.00 plus the $3.00 TennisLink fee-deadline
to add players to teams is Friday, September 28, 2012
- If
you do not have a current USTA rating, you can self-rate on TennisLink
when you register as a team member on a team.
- Each
team must have a Captain — please contact me if you are unsure as to how
to register your team.
- State
tournament fees are additional $35.00 per player. Tournament Regulations
will be on the LTA site under Adult Tennis/2012 State Tournaments/Super
Seniors.
- Winning
State teams will advance to Sectionals on November 30 thru December 2, 2012
