Ken Skupski Falls in US Open Round of 16

Former LSU menís tennis All American Ken Skupski and doubles partner Jamie Delgado had a strong run through the first two rounds of the US Open this past Monday. However, it is disheartening to know that they did not pull through after losing in the Round of 16.

They played No. 6 seed Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez, falling 6-2, 6-4 on court 17 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center only after defeating the previous U.S. Open Champs.

This appearance by Skupskiís is the furthest he has ever advanced in a Grand Slam tournament throughout his whole career. His previous best was second round finishes at the Australian Open (2010), French Open (2010) and Wimbledon (2010, Ď12).
