Girl Scouts Louisiana East - Tuesday, June 12, 2012
In partnership with the United Tennis Association, Girl Scouts Louisiana East  earned their first tennis badge by participating in "Tennis Anyone?", held at BREC Independence Park during various Saturdays in June and July. There are several professional instructors from the USTA/LA and also the BreakPoint Tennis Academy that helped teach the girls the fundamentals of the game while also having a ton of fun on the courts! It helps the girls learn the game or even improve their skills if that is the case.

The price for the program is only $7 for each girl which includes all the equipment needed and also free USTA/LA memberships to girls 10 & under. Water and snacks will not be provided. To register, you can click here to sign up or visit the Girl Scout website at www.gsle.org to learn more about such a wonderful organization. Also, special thanks to The Greater Baton Rouge Tennis Association who is a joint partner with USTA/LA. For additional information, please contact Kevin Shipp, at Girl Scouts Louisiana East, at 800-644-7571, ext. 2243.
