The Greater Baton Rouge Community Tennis Association is partnering with the USTA to Adopt a Unit - Thursday, June 9, 2011
The GBRCTA is partnering with the USTA to Adopt a Unit of approximately 75-100 soldiers deployed from New Orleans serving in Afghanistan.
Care packages will be followed by portable tennis equipment from the USTA and GBRCTA.
12 teams will collect travel sizes of ONE of the following: hand sanitizer, 200 pairs of athletic socks, baby powder, 300 disposable razors, baby wipes, hard candy (no chocolate), sunscreen, lip balm, letters of support, or $10 per person for postage.

On July 12, 2011 at 6pm we will meet at BREC Independence Park to pack boxes and celebrate our support.

To volunteer your team, email Ben Fontenot or call 225-802-2533 ASAP.
