Louisiana Junior Tennis has much to be proud of! Not only were these boys 2 of the dozen kids in Louisiana to get selected into this elite tournament, but they were the champions of their age division!
Tennis runs deep in the Bryan family, and this is a very special tournament for them. Many of the Bryans competed in this tournament in the 70s when it was played alongside the Sugar Bowl Football game.
Exactly 50 years ago in 1973, Parker's great Uncle Boyd won singles and doubles in Boys 12s.
Half a century later, history repeats itself with another Champion in the Bryan Family!
Established in 1948, this tennis tournament is a vital piece of history in the tennis community. Thanks to the Allstate Sugar Bowl and City Park Conservancy, this USTA National L3 is back. Thank you for making this possible for the Louisiana Tennis Association!
